My go-to superfood smoothie with winter kale and warming ginger.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 head Romaine lettuce
large handful of kale
1/4 inch piece of ginger
1/2 lemon
1/2 cucumber
1 green apple
DIRECTIONS:
Wash veggies and de-rib the kale (keeping just the leaves). Peel ginger, lemon, and cucumber. Core the apple. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until the consistency is smooth.
Is this your first green smoothie? Decrease the quantity of greens and add a banana.
