Iced Green Tea

A home-made alternative to the bottled iced-teas available in stores.  Most contain added sweeteners and other artificial ingredients that counteract the benefits of the tea.  Great for warm weather.

4 cups of boiling water

8 green tea bags

1/4 cup of honey or 1/4 cup of stevia

1 lemon, sliced into rounds

6 sprigs of fresh mint

Steep the tea according to the directions on the box.

Take out the tea bags.

Add the sugar and allow to chill for a couple of hours.

Add the lemon and fresh mint.

Serve.
