Green smoothies don’t have to be green! Here are three “green” kale smoothies, appealing to both children and adults.

Green Kale:
1 banana
1 apple
1 handful of kale
1 cup of water
optional: 1 Tbsp ground flax or chia seeds
Blueberry Kale:
1 banana
1 cup blueberries
1 handful of kale
1 cup of water
optional: 1 Tbsp ground flax or chia seeds
Pineapple Kale:
1 banana
1 cup of pineapple
1 handful of kale
1 cup of water
optional: 1 Tbsp ground flax or chia seeds

If your kids are new to vegetable smoothies, start with very little veggies. Blend all ingredients in a blender and serve.
