Nadia’s Healthy Donut Holes

Make your very own batch of good-for-you and still deliciously yummy donuts. These gluten, dairy and refined sugar free treats were lovingly created by my nine year old daughter, Nadia. They’re kid-friendly & nutrition mom approved!

INGREDIENTS
1 overflowing cup gluten-free all-purpose baking flour (Bob’s Red Mill)
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup melted butter (Earth’s Balance dairy-free)
2/3 cup almond milk
4 tbsp runny honey
optional: dark chocolate bar (80% cacao)

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix the dry ingredients first. Fold in the wet ingredients until combined. The consistency should resemble a wet dough that can be formed into balls. If your consistency is too wet, add some extra flour as needed. Using a tablespoon, scoop balls onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-13 minutes or until golden. For a dark chocolate glaze, melt chocolate over very low heat. Drizzle over warm donuts just prior to serving.

Best served warm straight from the oven.
