1/2 bunch asparagus
1/2 lb hulled strawberries
1/4 cup walnut halves
1/4 tsp salt
fresh spinach

For the dressing:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Prepare the dressing: Combine the olive oil and vinegar in a small bowl. Whisk to combine.

Prepare the asparagus: Snap off the woody end of the asparagus. To do this, bend the asparagus until it naturally breaks. Using a steamer, steam the asparagus for 1o minutes, or until slightly soft. Rinse in cool water.

Prepare the salad: Combine the asparagus, strawberries, walnuts and fresh spinach in a bowl. Toss to combine. Season with salt and dressing, to taste.
