Ginger Tonic

This ginger, turmeric, and lemon tonic is the perfect remedy for an upset stomach. It’s anti-inflammatory, relieves pain and boosts immunity. I love the extra support during the busy holiday season.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup water
juice of 1/2 fresh lemon
1 tsp freshly grated ginger (1/4 tsp ground ginger)
1 tsp freshly grated turmeric (1/4 tsp ground turmeric)
local, raw honey (to taste)

DIRECTIONS:
In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the spices, stir, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Remove from heat. Strain. Then stir in the lemon and honey, to taste.
Enjoy!
